Earthy notes again compliment intense black-cherry fruit on the palate, The fruit is supple & juicy with nice acidity & a dusty tannic structure. The plentiful tannins dry out the mid-palate. Alcohol is balance & the firm, fine tannins last well. This is a high-quality, classically-styled wine as is typical of wines from this property.
