Leather and earth notes were followed by dried dark cherries, blueberries, black pepper and smoked beef. Mouthfeel was dry and medium-bodied, accompanied by moderate levels of balanced acidity and well-integrated tannins. There were flavors of meat, aniseed, tobacco and truffle in a long finish.
